JQuery Carousels, Drupal Content Type Theming and Design Mocks Ups

Today will be a full day of programming and designing. We are very happy to be working with SoCal WebWorx, a professional custom website design company, based in Irvine and Aliso Viejo, Orange County on a new website project. We will be building out the Featured Products functionality today that will allow the user to cycle through the selected Featured products and view recipes that use the featured product.

Another huge benefit for our business is the work we receive from BlueChannel. Since 1997, BlueChannel has provided clients with the reliability of a world class data center and for the last year we have been fortunate to be a contract worker for the company. Today we will continue developing on the new web project as well as do a little logo work for another project.

This afternoon we will jump over to our The Alumni redesign where we will begin building out the Article content type in Drupal 6 and theme the look of that node type. We will also build a View in Drupal 6 that will display the featured stories on the homepage. We will use a type of carousel similar to ESPN.com for the featured story as well as a simple list of recent articles lower on the page.

Later today, after playing a little basketball, we will start getting inspired to develop some mock ups for the new Miss Colorado website that we have been asked to redesign. We are particularly happy about this project because it allows us to work with the wonderful Terri Decker of Muse Events. She will be the project manager on this website redesign and her creativity and organization makes any project a breeze.
