Our Process

Focal55 works with you so that we understand your expectations and your vision. We will propose as many drafts as needed to achieve satisfaction and confidence in your project. Through communication via face-to-face meetings, email and phone calls we will establish a relationship with you, our client, that exceeds expectation.

A typical case study works in the following phases:

Exploritory Phase

Focal55 and the client will arrange meetings to discuss the project and reach an overall agreement on the direction of the project. Goals, target market, business requirements, logistics and timelines are topics that are reviewed in detail. From this information Focal55 will start drafting the project strategy.

Scope Phase

Focal55 and the client will turn exploritory discussions into a contract that defines the scope of the project and its logistics. In terms of Web applications, story lines will be established which will define all functionality and senario expectations. These story lines will define an end point of the project and establish a distinct measure of success.

Design Phase

Focal55 will compose a series of mock-ups that explore the client's vision. From these series of mock-ups, the client and Focal 55 will narrow the key elements for the next phase. At this point, if nothing captivates the client, Focal55 will go back to the drawing board and return with a completely new set of mock-ups for review. This process is repeated until the client is happy and excited to move onto the next phase.

Development Phase

Focal55's programmers will execute the design with precision that brings Web functionality to life. We obey all coding standards, adhere to strict code Web compliance and fight diligently in the so-called 'Browser Wars.' We integrate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies in every aspect of Web development and we go the extra mile when it comes to code architecture.
